Sandy Olney
Executive Director

Indoors throughout the YearSandy has extensive experience in outdoor recreation and has worked for the last several years in the field of adaptive sports and recreation.  She is part of a close collegial network which includes founders and principals of the regional and national adaptive sports community.  She is a founding member of ASPNC.  She has reached out to educational, human service and community organizations and individuals to ensure an understanding of the variety of needs for year-round adaptive sports and recreation in the broad community we serve.  She has developed and implemented many adaptive programs to meet these needs.  A graduate of Wheaton College, Sandy has pursued training and certifications in the fields of adaptive and general sports and recreation.  Her credentials include:

  • Certified Level II Adaptive Ski Instructor, Professional Ski Instructors of America, 2010
  • Certified Level II Alpine Ski Instructor, Professional Ski Instructors of America 2009
  • Certified Water Safety Instructor, American Red Cross, 2007 - current
  • Certified Interpretive Guide, National Association for Interpretation, 2005
  • CPR for the Professional Rescuer, 2004 – current
