Second Annual Pirates of the High Skis – a fun and successful fundraiser!Second Annual Pirates of the High Skis – a fun and successful fundraiser! On Saturday, February 11, 2012, over 125 Pirates and Wenches swarmed Cannon Mountain Ski Area, maps in hand, on an orienteering-style treasure hunt. They received “gold doubloons” for locating the designated places on their maps, and used these to enter the two grand prize drawings. The Treasure Chests each held pirate booty worth over $1,250. Additional prizes were awarded Second Annual Pirates of the High Skis – a fun and successful fundraiser!for best Pirate and Wench costumes as well as Most Bodacious Shoulder Parrots. Even those who didn’t hunt for treasure had a chance for some wonderful items through the raffle and silent auction that took place throughout the day.
