The greatest reward for volunteering at ASPNC is seeing the smiles on the faces of our participants as they engage in life-affirming experiences.
Volunteers also become part of a dedicated community of people who truly enjoy giving of themselves and their time.
Those volunteers who commit to a minimum of 10 days of volunteering may apply for individual memberships free of charge.
Here are comments from some of our volunteers.
"Being a volunteer with ASPNC has turned out to be a wonderful fit for me. I feel that my life has been enriched by sharing my love of outdoor activities with participants and fellow volunteers." – NR
“As an ASPNC volunteer, I’ve received far more than I’ve given.” – CDC
“Seeing a client progress from walking on skis to performing a wedge and then making some turns and then riding on the chair lift at Tucker Brook on Cannon Mountain is as thrilling to me as it is to my client.” – CK
“I have volunteered in many different capacities over my lifetime but my work with the Adaptive Program is by far my favorite and most meaningful.” – KM
“When I can coax a smile of achievement from someone, we both enjoy a warming sense of well-being. Since ASPNC activities are physical and usually outdoors it’s even better, because I value both so much.” -AC
Why Volunteer? - “Good works, good people, good exercise, good fun.” - JR
